One nice thing about celebrating Easter in DC will be the Cherry Blossoms. That in fact may be the only nice thing about this upcoming weekend. Bigalcarman has been in the car business for close to twenty years and his asshole inlaws have never purchased an auto from him. Of course when one wont start or neeeds repaired who do you think they call? Yep, you guessed it the call old Alan Myers. My wife is the greatest person in the world and thankfully nothing like her family. So be thinking of bigalcarman spending the whole weekend with Taliban.

My wife and I are considering renting a spare bedroom of ours for this years Thunder In the Valley. Bigalcarman and Dana thought since we lived in the country about 18 miles from Johnstown it would be nice if the couple could ride here after the nights events and maybe sit with a few beers or such by an outdoor fire. Dana and I always took forward to the bike rally coming to Johnstown PA. Hey, if anyone reading this may be interested email us @ myalan@verizon.net.

Oh No Bigalcarman Breaks His Foot…. Needs Surgery

I can’t believe it! I have been hearing “I told you so” for 6 days now. Last Saturday Dana and I were talking in the kitchen, just having a great time talking about Super Bowl plans. I got up to get a beverage when I stepped on one of the dog bowls and went down like a ton of bricks. Of course she knew right away I’d broken my foot. Well being the man I am I waited 6 days to get an xray and sure as shit it’s not just a break, but on of those misplaced spiral fractures that will need surgery. Looks like I’ll be hobbling around in Tampa spilling beer on everyone. Teh bright side is that I should be ready for gardening come spring

Pittsburgh Steelers

Lucky seven for the Steelers. Super Bowl 43 will mark the seventh time the Pittsburgh Steelers had made the trip to the most coveted trophy in all sports. Bigalcarman is gettin himself a plane ticket to Tampa, actually two tickets. As most of you know my wife is more of a college an pro football fan than most men I know. Dana will watch the NFL network when they replay the AFC Championship game during the next two weeks and she’ll scream, jump up and down and twirl her trerrible towel, just like the game is being played for the first time. So needless to say we’re excited about Super Bowl 43. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!

Bigalcarman is Gearing Up For A New Year

Well folks, it’s another holiday season come and gone. The new year has a week under her belt already and as we all grow older it seems the weeks turn into months and years quicker than we’d like. As with every start of a new year I’ve been pouring through gardening magazines searching for the right vegtable seeds and plants as well as shrubs and trees. As far as car sales go, December and so far January have been wonderful. Lets hope consumer confidence is on the rise and sales will be brisk throughout the new year. Which brings me to another thought, motorcycles. I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in motorcycles on the roads the past year. I’m thinking why not start stocking a few on the lot and see if that will grow for me. If things go well I will add more inventory and expand from there.
Dana and I will be empty nesters again next week as Paige ready’s herself for her return to the great PSU. We always miss the late night parties and of course not having Spencer, Mandy and Bella home for the holidays. Bella keeps Cooper busy while Abby sleeps most of the time.
Time to close the store and head home to the Myers family crib.

Hi folks. Bigalcarman (Alan Myers) is sitting in his office today watching the snow fall. This time of year is kind of a bitter sweet time for him. He’s excited about family getting together at his home for Thanksgiving dinner and unsettled because of his car business is enduring another seasonal slow selling period. He’s kept busy at home preparing for about 40 relatives coming for the big meal on Thursday and calling to make sure his fresh turkey is at the market. Pennsylvania 72nd District State Representative Race

Im excited to be involved (a small amount) in the local election this year. The reason I became involved is I truly feel we have a great candidate running on the Republican ticket for 72nd district representative. His name is Chris Voccio, www.chrisvoccio.com.

The 72nd district includes parts of Cambria and Somerset counties. Cambria county has been controlled by the Democrats for as long as I can remember. So we have that good old boys club mentality going on. Our largest city in the county has been under the states financial distressed status far too long under democratic control.

Chris Voccio will bring about the needed changes this district needs, he is well educated, he is not part of the “good ole boys” group and it seams to me, he really has a plan to help our area.

US Government Out of Control

Does our Govenment even resemble what those who signed the Constiution envisioned? I believe our forefathers wanted Congress to be a voice for the citizens of our great country. Somewhere along the line we had the wool pulled over our eyes. Lobbyist, special interest groups and pork barrel spending raised their ugly heads and ran this country and it’s citizens into the ground. Maybe it is time for a third party.

Come November folks consider voting for none of the above to send a message to our government.
